Paul D. began his military career at the age of 17 as a reconnaissance trooper in the Canadian army. After a deployment to Kosovo, Paul decided to go through the demanding selection process for assignment to the Canadian Special Operations Forces, or CANSOF (JTF2). Once selected as an assaulter, Paul was tasked on multiple deployments to Afghanistan and employed as a unit sniper.  Seeking to deploy to new areas and see more of the world, Paul began working as a civilian defense contractor with such organizations as the United Nations, Triple Canopy, and ACADEMI- the company formally known as Blackwater. He deployed to Haiti, Iraq, several more trips back to Afghanistan, and several other countries in the Middle East. These missions varied from instructing local nationals in small unit tactics to protecting U.S. Government personnel and facilities in high-threat environments.

A U.S. citizen since 2010, Paul has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of highly-trained warriors from all branches of the U.S. military including MARSOC, Navy SEALs and Army Special Forces, British SAS and SBS, Australian SASR, the New Zealand SAS, and the Polish GROM, amongst others. Continually learning from the thousands of students he has personally trained, Paul continues to broaden his extensive background instructing driving, unarmed combat, Executive Protection, and firearms and tactics. He currently uses his talents to prepare military, law enforcement, and civilian personnel to deploy to various hot spots around the globe.
