At Shannon Taylor Tactical Training, our Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Classes are designed to equip participants with essential life-saving techniques used in high-stakes environments. Recognized as the standard for pre-hospital trauma care on the battlefield, TCCC principles are vital for anyone looking to enhance their readiness and response capabilities in emergency situations. Whether you’re a civilian, first responder, or member of the armed forces, mastering TCCC can make all the difference when every second counts.
All classes are for participants 18+ only.

What the Class Covers
Our TCCC classes focus on preparing participants to manage trauma, save lives, and improve survival rates under pressure. Key topics include:

Controlling Major bleeds
Learn the proper use of tourniquets, pressure dressings, and other bleeding control methods.

airway management
Understand how to assess and maintain open airways to ensure proper breathing.

Treatment for Trauma
Learn how to address gunshot wounds, penetrating trauma, and other injuries common in high-stress scenarios.

Shock prevention
Recognize and manage the signs and symptoms of shock to stabilize a patient effectively.
Equipment Required for classes:
Handgun Classes
- Ammunition (bring a minimum of 1000 rounds of ammunition for 3 day class and 500 rounds for 1 day class).
- Quality gun belt.
- Quality holster for belt, (in addition you can bring a conceal carry holster).
- Magazine pouch able to hold two spare magazines (a minimum of three magazines for class).
Carbine Classes
- Ammunition (bring a minimum of 1000 rounds of ammunition for 3 day class and 500 rounds for 1 day class).
- M-4 or similar platform.
- Magazine pouch able to hold two spare magazines (a minimum of three magazines for class).
- Some type of sling system.
It is recommended that you also have a handgun duty type belt (listed above) to be able to perform transition drills.
Additional Items Needed
- Personal hygiene items, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.
- Insect repellent.
- Sunscreen.
- Quality footwear.
- Quality rain gear.
- Hat or some type of head covering.
- Ear and Eye protection.
- Any emergency medicines (ex: Epipens).
- Seasonal appropriate clothing.
